By triggering your vehicle security alarm, this solution provides a level of protection from theft of your catalytic converter that is unmatched by any other product. This device coupled with the underbody protection plate ensures thieves are interrupted before damage occurs. The patented tamper-detecting module listens for the precise vibration frequencies produced by attempts to remove your vehicle’s catalytic converter. Contact with hand tools and cutter blades triggers your production vehicle alarm resulting in a thief with no place to hide. Highly sensitive and smart enough to ignore other non-theft triggers, there’s no need to worry about false alarms. Developed and tested together with Mopar engineers, our design is optimized for vehicle integration. Proprietary programming is written specifically for your vehicle make and model. Production-style wiring harnesses and connectors ensure a direct and dependable connection with vehicle systems. The underbody shield is made of high strength and corrosion-resistant aluminum. The plate features the added protection of the same underbody powder-coat as production. Fasteners are grade 8.8, with MagniCoat for superior corrosion protection. It features shielded fasteners, hidden reinforcements, and coverage that prevents bending edges out of the way. Fits Ram 1500 equipped with four-wheel drive.
